Nainital is the famous tourist place of Uttarakhand state of India. It is also a headquarter of Nainital district. In kumau area nainital have special importance. In this area 60 Taals are situated so its called as a “Sasthikhat” and now it is called as a “Chahkhata”. Now a days also nainital district has maximum Taals. It is also called Lake district of India because this places is surroundings by the lakes. The nainital name made with two names Naini+Tal, where Naini means ‘eyes’ and Tal means ‘Pond’. The Lake city nainital is the famous tourist place of Uttarakhand State. Nainital is situated between the hills and surroundings by the lakes. From all of the lake Naini lake is very famous for which the place named as Nainital also known as Lake city. Nainital is a very beautiful city.

Nainital city comes under the nainital district which is the main center of attraction. It is situated between high hills and trees surrounded from 3 sides. Its height from the sea level is about 1938 Mtr. The Taal is 1348 Mtr. long and 458 Mtr. wide. The main feature of this Taal is that we can see the reflection of all the mountain series and trees in it.  The reflection of the clouds from the sky in the lake is looking so beautiful, a lot of tourists/nature lovers come to see this beautiful seen from hundreds of Kilometer.  The color of water of this lake is changed as per season like in summer its color is green, in winter its color is light blue and in rainy seasons its color is musty.

How to reach Nainital:

By Air:- The nearest airport for the nainital is Pant Nagar which is at the distance of 71 Km. You got direct flight from delhi for Pant Nagar.

By Train:- The nearest railway station is Kathgodam which is about 35 Km away from Nainital and also well connected with the all major cities of India.

By Road:- Nainital is connected with the National Highway No. 87. You got direct buses from New Delhi, Agra, Dehradun, Lukhnow, Kanpur and Bareli on daily basis.

Winter :- October to February  – 15 Degree(Max) & -03 Degree(Min)  & Snow fall
