Land of pyramids – Egypt is such an astonishing place that makes your trip full of amazing moment that you will cherish throughput your life. When Egypt comes into mind the first thing that comes into mind are Pyramids, vast desserts and great kings. The idea of a great adventure makes your dazzle and sensation through your body. There are so many places to visit in Egypt. Some of them are Egyptian Antiquities Museum, Al-Qalaa Citadel, Coptic Museum, Museum of Islamic Arts, Gayer-Anderson Museum, Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Mosque at Al-Azhar, Abdeen Palace Museum, Abu Sir Pyramids, Manial Palace Museum. With so many exiting places you must prefer to go three places namely Giza Pyramids, Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel Temples.

The Giza Pyramids

First place that attracts you most and obviously your first choice to visit are pyramids. These great Giza Pyramids are the great pieces of architecture were built as tombs for the great kings of Egypt, and sometimes for the queens as well. The driving force that leads to the construction of these pyramids was the immense desire to achieve eternity. These world famous Pyramids were not in isolation and include temples and shrines. Imhotep was the designer that designed the first pyramid. This pyramid can still be seen today in Egypt and are the important monuments of the world. Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the first monument in Egypt made entirely out of hewn stone. These pyramids are basically for preserving the dead bodies of the emperors using spices. These are called as mummy.

Valley of the Kings

Ramsees XI was the last king of the New Kingdom. He is also the last king who constructed a tomb in the Valley of the Kings. There are two main branches of the Valley of the Kings are the East Valley where most of the tombs are located and the West Valley and here you will find only a few tombs and some pits.

Abu Simbel Temples
